Dr. Bentz

Dr. Suzanne Bentz, D.O. is the Medical Director and owner of the largest medical weight loss and med spa practice in the Southwest - Red Mountain Med Spa. Board-certified in family medicine, she also is a Diplomate of and certified by the American Board of Bariatric Medicine as an expert in the treatment of obesity-related diseases. Medical weight loss is of special interest to Dr. Bentz, and she strongly believes bariatric physicians are the most qualified professionals to assist patients with losing weight. For more than 17 years, she has helped thousands of patients lose weight safely and avoid gastric bypass surgery.

Dr. Bentz has received advanced training in aesthetics and in the use of lasers. She has been awarded Platinum Plus injector status with Allergan, the makers of Botox and Juvederm, for her experience in using their products for facial rejuvenation. Dr. Bentz is excited to share her knowledge and expertise with her patients to help them preserve a youthful, ageless appearance.

With five offices throughout Arizona, Dr. Bentz works with a team of dedicated medical professionals who provide quality, supervised weight loss care to patients. Dr. Bentz and her team are passionate about helping their patients achieve their goals and becoming healthier. We would like to introduce you to our knowledgeable, experienced and caring team.

Amie Pena

Amie Pena is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner practicing at both our Scottsdale and Glendale Med Spa locations. She graduated with her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Arizona State University and received her Nurse Practitioner and Masters Degree in Nursing from The University of Phoenix. Prior to working at Red Mountain she worked at St. Joseph's Hospital specializing in neurology. She is currently a member of the Coalition of Arizona Nurses in Advance Practice and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. In her spare time she enjoys hiking, traveling, scuba diving and spending time with family.

Ginger Kunszt

Ginger Kunszt is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, who has been with Red Mountain Med Spa for over 10 years. She is currently the office manager and a practicing provider at our Glendale Med Spa. Prior to coming to Red Mountain, she had more than 9 years of hospital nursing experience in various medical specialties. She holds a Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing from Northern Arizona University and a Masters of Science in Nursing/Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Phoenix. She is currently a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the American Society of Bariatric Physicians. She is married with two children and in her free time enjoys traveling, hiking, boating, and scuba diving.

Beth Bobier

Beth Bobier, CNM, CNP has been with Red Mountain Med Spa since March 2010. Beth graduated from ASU with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2002 and then from SUNY at Stonybrook in 2005 with a Masters of Science in Nursing. Beth says that, "After five years of practice as a Nurse Practitioner in a women's health care setting, it was exciting to start on a new path at Red Mountain. I have always counseled patients on general nutrition and exercise and was able to incorporate that knowledge with the successful programs offered at RMMS. It has been so rewarding to help patients achieve their weight loss goals!" Beth lives in North Phoenix with her husband, 4 year old daughter and 5 year old Great Dane. She enjoys hiking, traveling and reading a good book in her spare time.

Pam Andow

Pam has been a nursing professional for over 25 years, with the last 8 years dedicated solely to Facial Aesthetic Enhancement. Pam's early nursing career was focused on pediatric critical care and she had the privilege of working with burn survivors. This exposure enabled Pam to see firsthand the impact body image can have on a patient's self-confidence. "I believe strongly that improving a patient's self-confidence through medical aesthetics can greatly contribute to their self-esteem and their overall well-being and because of that I've developed a passion for helping men and women achieve their aesthetic goals." Pam specializes in facial rejuvenation, and she is at the forefront of the latest non-surgical aesthetic enhancement techniques which encompasses injections, energy based treatments and cosmeceutical products to enhance and improve your facial experience. In her spare time Pam enjoys yoga, biking and cooking with friends.

The med Spa was carefully planned and designed by medical director and owner, Dr. Suzanne Bentz using Feng Shui. Feng shui is an ancient Chinese philosophy concerned with understanding the relationships between nature and ourselves so that we might live in harmony within our environment.

Feng shui is related to the very sensible notion that living with rather than against nature benefits both humans and our environment. It is also related to the equally sensible notion that our lives are deeply affected by our physical and emotional surroundings. If we surround ourselves with beauty, gentleness, kindness, sympathy, music, and with various expressions of the sweetness of life, we enrich ourselves as well our environment.

The soothing water wall, the essence of natural fragrant oils and the pleasant harmony of sounds will invoke your senses and send you in to the realm of relaxation and renewal. The Spa Menu was designed to pamper you, enhance you and relax you.

In addition, Red Mountain Med Spa regularly sponsors numerous local charities for abused women and children and is an avid supporter of the local community.

Spa Rules

Licensed and Trained Spa Therapists: Our entire spa team is well educated and trained to offer you a professional and relaxing spa experience. It is our policy to always have a doctor on-site. You can rest assured that you are being cared for by some of Arizona's top cosmetic and medical spa professionals.
Signature Private Spa Suites: As an added courtesy, all of our guests will have their own private spa suite.
Handicap Accessible Facility: For our guests with specials needs, we offer a handicap accessible facility and specially trained staff to accommodate you as our guest.
No Smoking Policy: We ensure a healthy environment for our clients by upholding a non-smoking policy.
