What is a Vampire FaceLift?

The Vampire FaceLift Procedure combines the science of the hyaluronic acid filler, Juvederm XC, and growth factors and stem cells derived from your own blood to smooth out wrinkles, stimulate collagen production, and rejuvenate your complexion.

Is the Vampire FaceLift right for me?

As we begin to age, we experience a number of changes in our appearance. The color of our skin changes due to decreased underlying blood flow, the shape can become collapsed and droopy as muscle and collagen decreases, and the texture of the skin becomes less smooth.

The Vampire FaceLift is an ideal treatment for you, if you want to:

How does it work?

During the Vampire FaceLift, the provider will create your own Platelet-Rich Plasma or PRP, which is a form of blood plasma that has been enriched with platelets. Platelets are tiny cell fragments that contain growth factors and natural substances that encourage cellular growth. They provide you with the building blocks for healing when you sustain a burn or cut.

The PRP, along with the facial filler, Juvederm XC, is then injected back into the face. This method of combining Juvederm and PRP, dramatically enhances the effects of the treatment; since the platelets contain important growth factors and ignite tissue regeneration and stimulate collagen.

What is a Vampire FaceLift like?

The Vampire FaceLift is a minimally invasive procedure, similar to that of a Filler Treatment. The procedure begins with drawing a vial of blood from the patient. The provider places the blood in a centrifuge and spins the blood at a very rapid rate to separate the platelets from the other components of the blood. The platelets are then activated, producing your very own Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP). Using a fine needle, your provider will ease the PRP and Juvederm XC under the skin to fill the soft tissue of the dermis. This adds volume, diminishes the appearance of wrinkles and nasolabial folds, improves the skin’s appearance, and stimulates the production of collagen, with only minimal downtime.

What are the benefits of the Vampire FaceLift?

By combining Juvederm and PRP, the effects of the treatment are noticeably enhanced. Not only does PRP cause an increase in volume, PRP contains at least 8 growth factors that will, over a period of time, continually work like a rejuvenating agent.

By activating these growth factors:

·         The color of your skin improves and looks younger, because of the new blood vessel formation.

·         New collagen formation in the dermis lifts the face back to a more youthful shape.

·         Because the growth factors are working to build a new dermis, the epidermis (the outer most layers of your skin) appears smoother.

Kristine is a Licensed Aesthetician, Certified Laser Technician, and is very excited to have joined the team at Red Mountain Med Spa. Kristine has over 7 years of experience in the Aesthetics Industry, serving as both an Aesthetician and Laser Technician. She received her education at the National Laser Institute and National Aesthetics Institute, both in Scottsdale. She will predominantly be working at the Glendale location, but will occasionally be helping in Scottsdale and Mesa. Kristine has always had a passion for skin care and specializes in working with patients who have melasma and adult acne. She is excited to be working with great people and serving as a skin care expert for her patients.
